Golf Pad scorecard: What do the symbols mean?

Modified on Thu, 5 Jun at 9:23 AM

There are special symbols used on the Golf Pad scorecard. You can note that some holes are circled or squared. The circles represent below-par holes and the squares above-par holes. A score that is neither circled nor squared is a par. Here is some explanation of such symbols:

  • No symbol - Par;

  • Circle - Birdie;

  • Solid circle - Eagle;

  • Solid circle with frame - Albatross or better;

  • Square - Bogey;

  • Solid square - Double bogey;

  • Solid square with frame - Triple bogey or worse.

If you're using a handicap-adjusted net scoring mode, Golf Pad will apply circles and squares based on your net score, rather than your gross score.
