Also to add, quite often when I want to check on the watch how far it is down the dogleg etc, the map take a long time to load. I don’t want to hold up the game, and it can take almost a minute for the map to show something other than a heavy blur. In this instance, the graphic representation would probably help a lot

I would agree with this. Even though actual satellite pictures can be nice, they are not always up to date. Sometimes you see the course during winter, or in different seasons or what not. I think graphic easy to see presentations of the fairways, hazards, green, rough etc are often easier to see at first glance, especially on a small screen.
Like for my home course, on some holes it’s almost impossible to see the boundary between the fairway and the super deep rough because they are the same color.
If you’re unlucky and the course is covered in snow and ice on the pictures, that doesn’t help neither of course

HI Mike,
Interesting idea. We do pride ourselves on high quality, real maps on the watch. I will pass along your suggestion to the dev team and let you know what they say!
For better viewing while on the course, especially on a sunny day, could we get a view like the attached as an option in settings?
