When I change tea locations from white to red, the yardage on the map view does not change.

At this time, the distances shown on the map view are based on the farthest tee by default. Changing the selected tee currently affects scorecard and club recommendations, but not the visual yardages in the map view.
We understand how useful it would be to view distances from different tees, and we do plan to add that option in the future.

I have the same issue in multiple courses... always refers to the white tees, what is wrong//

I sent in a support request. We shall see. If I tee off from the reds, having the yardage to a target landing spot would be very helpful.

That's something I have not heard before! Can you both send a message to support possibly with screenshots? We can get this fixed very quickly.
