One thing that takes the most time, if I even bother to do it, is tagging the lie for each shot.
I use the tags, and the correct area of the course very rarely gets entered correctly.
It would help a lot if you could map out different areas of the golf course. Like outlining the edges of the fairway(s), hazards, bunkers etc. like circles, or just edge markers you could drag around to outline an area.
That way it could automatically mark you as in a bunker, or in the rough etc. also hazards would show up nicely in the hazard view on the watch.

Hi, Brad! That’s a great idea! I really like your example of how this particular feature would come in useful to you. I'll share your comments with the rest of the team.

Hi, Jon! Thanks for the detailed suggestions!
If you notice the lie being tagged incorrectly during your rounds, you can help us improve this by sending a support request with the course name. This allows our team to check the course mapping and make adjustments where needed. Your feedback is really valuable in helping us make the app smarter and easier to use.

Yeah my dispersion, bunker shots, fringe puts etc all seem to be inaccurate. Again, I never adjust the info but it would be good if the app was intuitive enough to learn from other players and automatically update itself. Also, I wouldn't mind if it popped up with a question after you finalise your score for that hole. "Where was your first putt from? - Off - Fringe - Green" - very simple, one extra click for me. could even time out after 10 seconds if played isn't interested in entering. Or, could have an option in preferences such as "Turn On Additional Info Questions".
Feels simple to me. I would love to hear more about how easily these sorts of things can be implemented.
