I’m a Ranger at a local course and people are always asking how to to the creek, how far to cart path etc. Can golfpad be used as a gps outside of a round or will it only work when you are playing a round of golf?

Hi Kevin - You can use the GPS rangefinder on the course, even if you aren't actively playing a round. You'll still "start a round" to select the course, but then you can view the aerial map of the course, hole by hole. From there, you can tap to measure the distance to any point on the course.
