Apple Watch Now Requires Apple Health Access

Modified on Wed, 1 Jul at 11:23 AM

The Golf Pad Apple Watch app now records each round as a Workout, which requires access to Apple Health. This keeps your round active and reliable on your wrist and saves it to Apple Health when you finish.

The first time you start a round, your watch will ask for Health access. If it's turned off, you'll see “Enable Health access to continue,” and the round can't start until you grant it.

How to enable Health access

  1. On your iPhone, open Settings.
  2. Go to Apps > Health > Data Access & Devices.
  3. Tap Golf Pad.
  4. Enable Workouts.

That's it - start your round on the watch and everything works as usual.
