If there is no GPS while the smartwatch is connected to the phone, check the following:
- Location services are enabled in Android settings. Make sure location has "all the time" access: How does Golf Pad use the 'always on' background location?
- Location services are enabled in watch settings and location permissions are granted for Golf Pad app
- 'Wear OS by Google' is enabled under Golf Pad preferences > Smartwatch sync
- Disable all battery optimization/saver settings and/or apps. Distances do not update in Golf Pad watch app when phone screen is off
If the watch doesn't obtain or loses GPS while playing in Standalone mode (with Airplane mode enabled/Blutooth disabled), check the following:
- Location services are enabled in watch settings and location permissions are granted for Golf Pad app

- Run GPS Test app to check the GPS signal. Install it on your watch and start it when there is no GPS in Golf Pad. Link to download: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.nec.android.qzss.gnssview&hl=en&gl=US
