As I’ve already explained in other threads, I’m not satisfied with the way the current app handles Strokes Gained statistics. In practice, it only provides SG by category, and there are also inconsistencies since the total SG does not match the sum of the SG values from each category… anyway.
Taking heavy inspiration from what competitors offer, I recreated an Excel spreadsheet that analyzes your SG values sector by sector, with more relevant conclusions about your game.
You just need to download your reports from “Playing History”, place the three files into a folder, and recreate the data links in Excel (I can make a tutorial if needed).
Here is an example based on a 9-hole round I played.
I’m sharing the file with open access for anyone who wants to take a look, and if it can inspire the developers for future improvements to the app, that would be great!
Note 1: There may be display issues if you play the same course twice in one day. Note 2: I’m using metric units.
