I have been a Golf Pad user for many years and thank you for the product. I currently use the premium edition. Here are a few comments that I believe would make it even better:
The application appearance of the course map information is weak compared to others, e.g.18 Birdes.
The advance round planning capabilities are weak, given the features that are available in the application.
e.g. Not being able to plan a shot starting on the tee marker for the one you are planning to play from.
Plays Like Distance gets kind of wonky. e.g. The option of leaving on the elevation changes, but turning off wind since it is highly variable on the date you intend to play.
Not being able to plan for 3 shots on a par 5 is problematic.
Not being able to see elevation contours at your planned shot carry distance to estimate roll or lack there of.
The application does not clearly show which hole you are on to manually track a shot, so tracking data is frequently tracked on the wrong hole. Color Shading the box you are on for the hole or something would be a huge help.
The course map shows the entire course rather than the hole you are on, so there is too muck clutter.
Slope contour elevations and slope lines from tee to green would be helpful.
Wind plays like distances, but it seems that a tailwind helping helps about 1/2 as much as you suggest.
Elevation up plays like seems generally underestimated and elevation down overestimated. Uphill hurts more and downhill helps less. Granted angle of descent varies among golfers.
Not many green contour maps are available yet.
I have tried to use the tags over the years, but go the manual route due to the frustration involved.
Shots such as punch, chip, knock down, etc should possibly not be associated with the club hit to maintain shot data per club accuracy, I guess I could add clubs that are named for the shot rather than the club. I added one to handle all these types of shots.
The application does drain one's battery too much despite trying many things posted.
