Am I missing something or is it not possible to set lie type on the watch? I know I can from my phone, but I don't see how to do so from the watch.

Lie type needs to be set on the phone. It's not a feature on the watch. I'll be sure to pass the suggestion to our development team for consideration. Thanks for your feedback and for being a Golf Pad user.
